Today’s Christian church confusing and conflicting views of Scripture regarding the acceptance of LGBTQ+ persons. Although Jesus preaches a radical
acceptance of all people, other interpretations can lead to exclusion and even oppression. As a result, faithful LGBTQ+ Christians have kept away from
churches and Christianity itself. “Queer & Christian” offers an original reading of Scripture that opens the door to the LGBTQ+ people that we love and the people that we are. It is essential reading for the people of any church whose purpose is to nourish faith and the message of the Gospel.
